B1 – Thiamine
Thiamine is important in energy metabolism, the growth and function of cells, and helps reduce advanced glycation end-products that contribute to the development and progression of several degenerative diseases.
BenfoPure® Benfotiamine has been extensively studied and often prescribed in Europe to treat diabetes, inflammation, and peripheral neuropathy.
B2 – Riboflavin 5′-Phosphate
Vital in the maintenance of the body’s energy supply and the metabolism of fats and sugars. B2 is also used to synthesize red blood cells and in the production and regulation of certain hormones.
B3 – NADH (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide + Hydrogen)
Adequate niacin intake supports healthy circulation, stomach acid levels, mental stability and function, and the digestion of carbs, fats, and proteins.
Niacin is converted by all bodily tissues into the coenzyme Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide – the most common metabolically active form that is used in over 400 enzyme reactions throughout the body.
B6 – Pyridoxal 5′-Phosphate (P5P)
P5P is the naturally bioactive form of B6 that skips right over the conversion stage that synthetic B6 must undergo within the body and goes to work right away. Vitamin B6 helps increase both physical and mental energy and supports lowered homocysteine levels.
PANMOL® NADH is a reduced form of niacin protected from light and oxygen exposure which allows it to maintain its potency and effectiveness when blended with other supplements or ingredients.
B9 – Folate
Folate is involved in protein metabolism and may provide relief from depression and anxiety. It is also essential in managing homocysteine levels and supporting RNA/DNA synthesis and cellular repair. Pregnant women are urged to consume adequate folate to help regulate fetal nerve cell function and prevent premature birth.
L-5-MTHF (L-5-Mithyltetryhydrofolate) is a cell-ready form used in over 200 enzymatic reactions provided under the branded name Metafolin® and is the only form shown to cross the elusive blood-brain barrier to support the central nervous system.
Folinic Acid, commonly seen under the prescription name “Leucovorin”, is preferred in clinical settings over synthetic folic acid because it results in higher blood plasma concentrations and is effective in individuals with MTHFR mutations.
B12 – Cobalamin
B12 promotes red blood cell formation and a reduced risk of anemia and mental decline as well as supporting emotional well-being and natural energy production. Our B-Complex includes two essential bioactive forms, Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin, to offer a comprehensive range of benefits.
Methylcobalamin supports DNA/RNA production, liver health and detoxification, neurotransmitter production and regulation, and the metabolism of fats, estrogen, and histamine.
Adenosylcobalamin is used in cellular mitochondria to convert the foods we eat into the energy (ATP) our bodies run on.
B5 – Pantothenic Acid
Also known as “pantothenate”, B5 is used in the conversion of food into energy, the production of red blood cells and hormones, and wound healing.
Pantesin® Pantethine is a pharmaceutical-grade, active form of pantothenic acid chosen for its bioavailability and extensive scientific backing in its ability to help improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
B7 – Biotin
Biotin is known as the “hair & skin” vitamin due to its discovery being linked to unexplained hair loss and inflamed skin as deficiency symptoms for a previously unknown vitamin. B7 is used in the creation of energy from fats and carbohydrates, cellular growth and repair, and protein synthesis.
